Raffle Supporting the Cause
Happy April! And, no, no, this is no April Fools! This is your chance to help us with our memorial award for the second year, have some fun, and maybe even win a bit! The Phillip Rieckert Memorial aims to award college-bound students a congratulatory grant to help with college costs. The students selected have shown leadership capabilities through sports, other extracurricular activities, or community. The chosen recipient winners must submit an essay including a quote that profoundly speaks to them or potentially even represents a portion of their growth or time as high-school students.
Thank you for your consideration in participating in our Memorial raffle fundraiser! It’s fun, it’s easy, some awesome prizes are at stake, and all proceeds go directly toward the 2023 Phillip Rieckert Memorial award. There are 60 slots to choose from (equal to a 6-0 win in tennis) -each space represents a dollar amount and the # of raffle tickets you will receive for the drawing of 5 potential prizes. For instance, you select #45 – you donate $45.00 and earn 45 tickets and 45 chances to win one of 6 prizes. The drawing to be held in May at Calvert’s Restaurant, Augusta, Ga, along with the winner announcement of the 2nd annual Phillip Rieckert Memorial award. The recipient will draw winning numbers, and the drawing will be live-streamed.
